Abba’s Child Learning Center offers the following Expressways to Learning® programs, both at our learning center in the Redding, California, area and for use in your home:

• Expressways To Reading® teaches reading, spelling, handwriting, and comprehension.
• Expressways To Math® offers three levels of math help including word problems.
• QuikComp® increases comprehension, vocabulary, and speed of reading.
• Basics Express® prepares students for success in both reading and math.
• AdVocab® increases vocabulary while improving spelling, focus, and visual skills.

Expressways to Learning® at Abba’s Child

By using Expressways to Learning® at Abba’s Child, our students benefits from the expertise and immediate attention of having teachers who are able to guide the student through the program and tailor the program to their needs. Students who attending Abba’s Child Expressways to Learning® classes typically are at Abba’s Child four days a week for an hour a day.

Expressways to Learning® at Home

The Expressways to Learning® programs can also be installed on your own computer for students who do not live close enough to Redding, California, to come in for classes or whose schedules do not allow them to come to Abba’s Child. By doing Expressways to Learning® at home, students still benefit from the brain based programs without having to come into class. Abba’s Child will provide:

• Training to achieve maximum success.
• Weekly calls to discuss the student’s progress.
• Ongoing support via email or telephone.

Getting Started with Expressways to Learning®

The first step towards students receiving learning services from Abba’s Child Learning Center is to come to Abba’s Child for an assessment. If travel to Redding is impractical, one of our professional staff will do a telephone consultation to determine what programs would be most appropriate. Assessments at Abba’s Child can last between an hour and four hours and will determine which of our programs would be the most helpful for the specific student. After doing an assessment, we present the parent or guardian with a written report outlining where the student is behind and how we can assist them.
